World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade
Item upgrade allows players to raise the item level of armor and weapons that can be equipped. This improves the stats and can also add buffs or rerolls an affix.
It is crucial to remember that upgrading your magic and common gear isn't always worth it. Rare and exclusive gear will quickly outclass modernized magic and common equipment.
Cost
When a player upgrades an item, they have to spend Gold to upgrade the item. The cost of upgrading an item depends on the item's current level and type of upgrade. Upgrades to weapons are generally less expensive than upgrades to armor since weapons have less requirements. The amount of Gold needed increases as an item is upgraded.
Upgraded items will also have enhanced stats that can boost its performance in various ways. This could mean increasing the power of its attack and critical strike chance or damage per second. Additionally an upgraded item might be able to give additional buffs to the unit it is equipped with. These upgrades can be used to boost the overall power of a group or individual unit, and could be a major influence on the gameplay.
The NPC for upgrading items can be located in the game. Typically NPCs can be found in major cities or questing locations. Players can also find item upgrader s by visiting dungeons with high-level bosses and by chatting with NPCs in their garrisons for their faction.
The World of Warcraft item upgrade system allows players to increase the level of armor, weapons and trinkets. This process is similar to reforging process used in Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor. However instead of using currency, players have to visit an item upgrader to complete the process.
Upgrades can be costly, especially for armor and weapons. Depending on the upgrade track each step in item level can cost many Valorstones and crests. The cost are prohibitive for those who don't have the money or are unable to grind.
Fortunately the game allows players to reroll an upgraded item with an additional tool available in the menu of items. This option replaces the upgraded item with a level 1 version that offers different bonus effects. This is useful for obtaining better rolls on items that have been upgraded, but could be a waste of resources.

Requirements
Upgrading is the process of increasing the level of equippable items, such as trinkets, weapons and armor. This increases their stats and can make them more effective in combat. Players can upgrade their gear by spending appropriate currencies at an NPC that sells upgraders for items. Players should be aware of the fact that certain upgrades require special requirements.
The earliest upgrades only increase the stats of the base item by one level, but later upgrades offer more substantial enhancements. For instance upgrading a weapon from level three to level six can increase the weapon's damage by two levels. Additionally, the upgraded item will be awarded bonus stats, which is based on the level at which it was purchased. This bonus is a combination of a guaranteed extra substat and a random stat that can change in value from upgrade to upgrade.
A player can Reroll an upgraded item using a Reroll Token to exchange the upgrade for a new one. The new item will have a different set of extra bonuses, as well as an lower base level. The rerolled item will also have different requirements for strength and dexterity. It is important to note that the rerolled item won't be able to keep its original strength or use any wasted resources.
Some upgraded items can only be rerolled if the initial item was a Unique Epic, Rare or Rare. Extraordinary items can also be rerolled, however the original stats are replaced by a flat-rate bonus. Rerolling a Rare item will result in a normal version of the same type, while rolling an Epic item will result in an Elite version of the same type.
An upgraded item may also come with additional modifiers, which can increase the stats of the item and boost its performance. These additional modifiers are not included in the upgrade cost. You can buy them at the Trading Post, or through other players. They can also be earned by completing specific missions in the game.
To upgrade an equipment piece, you need to visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine. Based on the type of item, you'll require one or more Power Dices (Dice 6 is available from monsters 21+ and Giants and Dice 12 can be obtained from Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.
Time
Upgrades to items can be a great way to increase your ship's stats and gear without the need to level them up. Upgrades aren't cheap but they can be an effective way to increase your stats without having to spend a lot of time fighting. It's crucial to know the benefits and costs prior to investing your money or time.
Each upgrade boosts an item's base stat by a specific amount and also offers a chance for a bonus substat increase. The additional substat is randomly assigned and could range from a tiny increase in one stat to an even greater boost in another. Focus on the items that work best in the slot first. They will bring more profit for your investment.
You can view the amount of time needed to complete an upgrade when you open your inventory and choose the weapon, ship or other accessory. The upgrade window will display the expected completion date and progress. In certain cases you may be capable of speeding up the process by using a Glyph.
Black Lion Salvage or Ascended Salvage offer a salvage kit that permits you to salvage all or a portion upgrade components. This is not the case for legendary equipment or upgrades that can be retrieved using an Upgrade extractor or by making a claim with the appropriate Karma retailer.
Take advantage of the benefits
Upgrades to items reward players with a range of items and currencies. Each upgrade also has the chance to award an unspecified stat bonus. The amount of bonus value varies between upgrades, and is typically higher for rare items. The Great Vault can be searched by players to determine whether an item can be upgraded. The search can help determine whether the item is of a particular level and if the player would benefit by an upgrade.
During the upgrade process, an item will gradually advance to the next level, but it's not always able to reach a full upgrade bar. This process makes use of Growthstones and Sollant but there is an 80% chance of getting an upgraded item within just one cycle. The more levels an item attains, the higher its boosted stat value and the more items it is able to upgrade to.
Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, armor, and weapons in order to gain an attribute bonus, or an additional effect, when the equipment is worn. Some upgrade components also have cosmetic effects. Upgrade components can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors or the Trading Post, looting or receiving them as gifts. In addition players can find upgraded items using an Upgrade Extractor, or salvaging them with a high-tier salvage kit. Glyphs that are placed in tools for gathering can be exchanged without restriction.
The player can transform an item into another upgradeable item by selecting it and pressing the green button a reroll arrow. This will change the layout of the game and allow players to choose up to six items for "recycling". The item will be replaced with an item of level 1. Recycled items will not keep their level or the amount of resources needed to upgrade them.
An item's maximum upgrade level is determined by its quality and tier. Rare items can be upgraded to an maximum of level six while Rare and Epic items can be upgraded up to level nine. The upgrades to an item are added to the base statistics of the item and won't increase after a certain amount.
